The drags recently run at Eastern Creek were on SBS yesterday, watching the drivers row through the gears on their sequential shifters, there wasn't much mechanical sympathy being shown.

Knowing where the "fuses" are in a WRX drivetrain, I'd suggest you weren't treating it as badly as you made out then.
