Hi,
I recently had some friends in the backseat of my Liberty and noticed that despite having passengers unbuckled in the back seats (as we were turning into the shops - yes I know this is not an excuse and I am sorry for those I offend) the warning chime and light did not come on in the overhead seat belt light console, yet as soon as it happens in the front passenger seat the chime and lights begin to go off. I don't usually take passengers in the back seat of my car so perhaps I never noticed this before, but I may be selling this car soon and therefore would like for everything to be in working order. As my car is a wagon, I assume some young families may be interested, with this issue possibly being a deal breaker for couples with young children.
Any suggestions on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated, I know the seat belt warning system can be disconnected under the front seats as I saw them when doing my amp install underneath the seat. However, I am unsure of the best way to access these plugs in the case of the rear seats (my car is a MY07 Wagon).
Thanks,
NDJ93
