Not 100% sure but I definitely know pre-facelift has the R160 open rear diff - the post-facelift may have the same, or if you're lucky, got the R180 treatment

According to the Subaru service Manual I have, pre face lift 3r's/3rspecb's have R160 VLSD rear diff (viscous).

Thus the cooling fins on the alloy diff cover.

As far as I know, all ADM postFL GT spec.B's have a 3.9 R180 torsen rear diff...

(but please correct me if I'm wrong!)

Winning! Viscous LSD always better than an open diff :good:

If you put your postFL spec B rear on stands and spin a wheel, the other wheel should spin in reverse if torsen LSD. If spinning in same direction someone has stuffed a plated LSD in there ;)
