Man that looks super tidy!!

For me i would like for it to sit where the tyres end. Cause when i look at the rim/tyre/guard the tyre/ guard looks spot on for me but then the rims sorta just look .... Odd!!

But if you are happy then that is all that matters.

Are you saying (from the side perspective) the tyre should sit level with the guard, as In no tuck?

Or how wide the wheel is poking out?

In the first car pic above.

I like the look of the tyre and guard but then the rim just sticks to far past the tyre width wise!!! Got me!!

Ah ok I understand. I'm probably not going smaller then a 9.5 for my next wheels and any higher offset I will be hitting the inner guard. So the poke of the wheel will be staying . Their will be less distance between the wheel and tyre when I go up to 225 though.

To be honest I am happy with how its sitting. But I will be experimenting with different heights, camber, tyres and even spacers to achieve my perception of the best 'stance' over the next few months. Once I am totally satisfied I will buy a nicer set of wheels.

I think, from memory, the prices are around $390 unpainted or $410 painted (give them your paint code)
Prices change though due to exchange rate and what not.

Sweet as I might give them a ring tomorrow to see exactly how much at the moment. Maybe I might get lucky and find a second hand one online.

I purchased a Corazon grille 2 days ago.. Japanparts have a 17% off sale atm, cost me $390 landed and painted. I prefer the honeycomb grille on the facelift.

Few small updates...

Monday night I decided to give the Lib a full service. Still need to change brake pads but ill do that on the weekend and Ill even have a crack at spraying the calipers if I have time.



Late night working on the Lib.

Since I was already working on the car I decided to lower the front more I'm quite happy with the front height right now. Only problem Is the wheels are lightly scrubbing on the inner guard at full lock, A little bit of positive camber should fix this.

I've decided I'm going to fit a 225 (possibly 235) on the rear soon and also add a 10mm spacer while raising the back up to give the car more of a slight raked look. Not sure how it will turn out but experimenting is all part of the fun! Most of you will not like hearing this but I want a little more poke at the back to

I found some old brackets in the garage and used them to rise the number plate, ever since Jakey brought the fact up it has been a major eye sore! I also shape them to give the number plate a slight tilt up which I think adds a nice touch.






I know these photos are very similar to previous ones posted, just want to show the difference.
