Disable Eyesight lane change alerts

Has anyone worked out how to permanently disable the Eyesight lane change alert function? Every time I start the car, I have to press the temporary disable button for several seconds to disable it. I just want the lane change function to never be active at all.

Short of a body computer program change I would not think it could be done. Most manufacturers get skittish about people disabling autonomous safety systems that I have heard of, they nearly all default to "on" when you start the car.

Only thing I can think of would be to set up an intercept to the button and a relay to connect the wires from the button for say 3 seconds on start to do it for you.
But I have no idea what sort of circuit would be needed to control the relay....

Yeah I thought so Muzza. Do you have the same issue with this aspect of Eyesight or is it not annoying you?
