usually i'd say that aftermarket daylights on a car look tacky, but i think you nailed it!
sucks that you couldn't put them between the bar and lip, that would've looked sweet!

Excellent trailblazing! :)
Speaking of which... How do you rate illumination levels from these drl's.
Do they illuminate, or are they just for visibility?

I agree, the best spot would have been on the lip, but had to settle for second best to be legal.

Yeah, but Brembo's are expensive bling when you consider the use of my vehicle. No track, no drags, no sustained high speed braking, so would be just bling really. Now I not saying it won't ever happen, just not overnight.

They are only daytime lights and as soon as the parkers or headlights come on, they dim, from 7.7W to 2.2W. So very little illumination.

Not sure if it's the same in Mexico but from memory, in Queensland DRLs have to be off whenever the headlights are on. Not sure how that works for all the factory-fitted ones which simply dim.

Have some more research to do in the ADRs as there are several bits of the ECE Reg 87 that have been removed in the ADR 76/00 and call up other ADRs, 13, 19, etc, for vehicle lighting.

The auto dimming is direct Euro compliant which is acceptable under the ADR, but will have a look at the others to be sure.

The next stage of the build starts properly next week. SC unit coming off and being retro fitted with a sealed bearing at Raptor, then being returned with the WTA and Headers. Car likely to be off the road for a minimum of two weeks or so. Also going to assess a fabrication of a new intake to loose the flexible section if possible. I will try to get some pics as well and post up some progress shots.

Then a retune will be required and a dyno to see where it is at.
