Kalgoorlie checking in...

Hey guys and girls,

I'm Greg and looking to get back into a Subaru after a long run with turbo'd Nissan's. After a Gen 4 Outback but just shopping around until I find the right one. Until then, I'm reading and learning from the tech forums, and just being old and grumpy! :D

I'd like the H6 but I'm not fussed on the cream leather on the interior. I'd prefer black leather, white paint, towbar and a sunroof, but I'm not picky...much!!

In reality, I'd love a manual but there is not much need for it out here. No twisty roads to enjoy (I'm from Hobart and had a 3rd gen Liberty RX manual, with awesome drivers roads) so an auto is a big possability for the drive to Esperance or Perth, and tow towing my trailer to the tip.

Haha. Would a liberty be too low for your liking?

OR get a h6 and dump it = epic :D

Not sure about outbacks. The impression I get is that the lib wagons have the cream interior for the normal h6 whilst the spec B would have black. Not overly sure though.

Would consider another Lib wagon but if you've been to Kal, the roads can be crap at times, when it rains, it floods the roads. Gutters here are designed to slow down drunk drivers, not chanel rain away!

Besides, we want to get out camping and exploring a bit more, and until we can swap the Elgrand for a Pathfinder, an Outback is better than the Magna at gravel roads!
