I am Lump, and I have been looking at getting a Subie (especially since my mate just got a new WRX S).
I currently drive a mild MKV Golf GTi, but I am looking at getting into a MY10 GT Wagon, if I can find one in a manual.

Well it turns out that I found just what I was after - Managed to get a MY10 manual wagon from QLD.
It is being thoroughly checked over, and then should arrive in my driveway next week sometime.

Woohoo, it arrived!
No pics yet, as it is filthy from being transported down the east coast.
First impressions -
Very nice inside, but also very complicated.
Drives nicely, gear box feels solid/heavy, as does clutch.
Haven't had a real chance to "drive" it yet, but a quick blast down the motorway was good.
I was hoping for a bit more squirt, but it is much heavier than my other car so it can be expected.
Other car is a MKV Golf GTi, at about 195kW, so the LibWagon feels like a lumbering giant compared to it, but I still love it!
Money well spent IMO.

Well, I often get a new car, and also build a big list of things to do.
This time, I will probably keep it pretty modest.
I think the first thing will be a tune (about 20kW or so), followed by some coil overs. I also plan to replace the grill, get an STI lip and rear wing too, but I'm not sure how it will look.
Some black 19"s are also on the list, but a lower priority.

If you want to see a nice looking Gen V wagon, look no further than Geno's beast which I think is at Garage 88 getting bits done to it the last I heard! But there are a few on here that will give you a few ideas.. But the white ones looks mint!!
Below car has been gone for quite some time now... blew bottom end bearing and dealership screwed me! Now driving 2008 WRX with ~65k kms on the clock. Only has cat back exhaust and tune by KiDo at the moment! More to come... but slowly!
Purchased recently (12/11/2013), already with: Stage 2 Pedders lowered springs, rear Whiteline sway bar, Advan Racing TCII 18x8 wheels, k&N pod filter, custom 3" exhaust system from turbo back with Magnaflow mufflers. ECUTEK tune of some sort (hopefully soon to be fixed)..... now FIXED!! Now KiDo Tuned!
Added: HID kit, EZ lip equivalents to the front and sides, and various LED treatments, oem boot spoiler, [LGT WRC] plates, GFB Respons BOV for extra Pssscchhh! --> Gone... I couldn't afford it's heart transplant... but keep a look out, as it will come back on sale soon!
