You'll certainly go to extremes to make sure everything is perfect.

Mark got the muffs aligned properly by loosening the single join before the Y on the AVO mid. (which I'd glued solid with gasket goo  )
That last bit got me over the line - THANKS!

Good pickup mate

My favourite sounding mufflers I've ever heard on any Subaru

Although I've only ever heard them on equal length twin scroll setups not uel so would be good to get a vid or sound clip :)

Better get onto it then, whilst they're not yet tuned for :)

Cheers! Its getting very close to where I wanted it to be - a delight!

Not much done this weekend, lubed the LHS bearing carriers on the top and lower side with PTFE spray grease with the front jacked up - spun the wheel lock to lock a few times and left it to sit for 30min = no more binding on that side
My guess is the BC's are still breaking in.

And I siliconed the PROVA gear position cap in the correct orientation... at last!!!

I've been stockpiling both inlet, exhaust and suspension parts and upgrades so its been a while since any real updates...
Tonight I added a brand new PROVA D steering wheel, bought with assistance from http://www.JesseStreeter.com and black SWC's from a buddy in the USA. The wheel is lovely, the alcantara is so soft. The rim is a little thinner than expected but the cutouts and flat section are not as intrusive as expected, so overall, winning already ;)

Basically I found the wheel in J at the best advertised rrp possible and Jesse took care of the rest, combining the shipping with a few more items meant I finally got the wheel new for a price I could live with ;)

I took the opportunity to tighten the Info and S# buttons and applied a little Resomat to the supports which suppresses the buzzing you can get if you tap the wheel.
Combined with the black SWC's it's a low key look I just love. Her Ladyship prefers the STi wheel because "leather is more classy"... We'll see about that :P

My advice for buying through Jesse is:
Do your own research on the parts you need.
Be certain about what you want.
Don't crap-on (tough one for me that).
Do as you say you will without fail.
Read the fine print.
Pay immediately.
Lavish praise for thorough work, great packing and fast service ;)
