Alright. I've been quoted $225 for DIXCEL type M's (premium street performance pads) and $128 for DIXCEL type ES' (performance street driving pads). $35 for installation on each corner, as well as $45 for shaving the brake disc on each corner.

I assume I need my discs shaved, but as for installation, I can do it myself. Anyone know someone that can shave my discs for cheaper? I'll definitely be getting the type M's from Garage 88, but paying for labour when I can do it myself is a no no.

Friggen bargain pricing - cheaper than what I get lol

You might save 10 bucks in machining elsewhere across the front and rear, but for piece of mind and warranty I would rather have mick / Nghi install them and be done with it

Installation isn't rocket science (unless you have brembos which aren't hard but can be finicky if you haven't done it before) but for peace of mind why not have the supplier install correcty

Honestly take the disks off yourself, drop off at a machining shop and pay $60 for all 4 professional quality machinning.

Could probably score yourself brand new rotors for that price lol

Nope. You just need to take the calipers off, there are 2 bolts at the back that hold it on and when you do the rears make sure the handbrake is down.

Nope. You just need to take the calipers off, there are 2 bolts at the back that hold it on and when you do the rears make sure the handbrake is down.

That's removing the calipers, to remove the rotors it's even simpler. There will be a threaded hole on the front of the rotor, simply use that in conjunction with a bolt and it will pop straight off

Im in the process of buying new dba rotors... theyre a lot more than $45 a corner... even for T2's youre looking at around $130-$150 per corner.

Which comes to $320. Get yourself a new set of either front or rear drilled dba4000. All that's left is...

Thanks for the tips guys. I'll definitely be doing the work myself. I'll only get the brake discs shaved. Might as well give my suspension and the wheel wells a clean at the same time.
