kiahatsiu wrote:Well, with all this talk about 3rbs breaking traction and what not, and a thread degenerating into madness I have come up with a challenge.

Basically it is open to all non forced induction h6 powered Liberties. I will pay $200 bucks into bank account of the first person to run over 99.99 mph over one quarter of a mile (402m) with scanned time slip evidence from an actual track. This will put to bed any debate on the merit of tuning h6's.
Why choose that mile per hour? It is about what a GT would run with a tune and exhaust. Why don't I care about times? Because terminal speed is a true measure of a vehicles power output.
So get cracking, and post up your time slips even if you don't come close. It is all just good fun at the end of the day.

Ian.

Awesome challenge.

I was just wondering and hoping that you might extend this challenge to Subaru SVX's which obviously come with the 20 year old EG33 H6? The current world record for interest sake in one of these dinosaurs is 14.2 at 95 mph with stock NA engine (no super charging and no NOS)... so a fair bit of work required to get to 100 mph. Stock ADM engine came with 171 kw and weighed 1600 kg so I think it's fairly even.

Cheers

Car is stock but has a mild tune from XRT.Ill admit that the car felt abit boggy down low and not it's usual self.Dunno why.

Had a look at my LV after the runs and come up looking good. Some raptor headers may be on the cards ASAP.

Congrats. She may soon need a little engine refresh. Thats quite a bit of mileage.

Cheers Ed.

What do you mean by engine refresh? More power? Thought so.

Was looking to get a set of Raptor headers but it seems they are not available till July at the earliest so i may just go the xforce catback for now with deleted 3rd cat.
