sorry what i meant is i need something better than MY class 10. what i need is a 'Sandisk extreme pro SDHC 32gb class 10 UHS-1' but i don't want to pay for it.
and no i haven't done any updates or anything yet. i still haven't figured out how to use my remote yet.

It's pretty easy. The main part is putting the camera into "Wireless RC" mode so the remote can find it.
If you have a smart phone, the GoPro App is an essential extra tool. Just be aware the camera can only be in either "App" mode, or "Remote Control" mode, not both at the same time.
