If anyone knows the car NY00MI that is perfect and if it was for sale I'd be very interested.

that's Jim's old car, and it got parted out about 18 months ago i believe? at least the advan's were sold off seperately

NY00MI is custom. Goes to show you can buy any car, and mod it to how you want it. Fair enough your waiting for an exact car, but id imagine it will be a while.

There were 200 07 models made. If we say half are wagon, half are sedan, your now at 100.
Then, there are three colour options. Assuming it was all even, your now down to 33.
If we again assume half are manual, half are auto, you are now down to 17.

That's roughly 17 Black 07 sedans in the whole of Australia. It may be a while until you find one.. Especially under 100k km.

There were 300 MY07 TBSTI made and 250 MY08.

They do come up for sale.

Patience is the key.

For me, it was more about buying the best example available rather than a specific colour. Especially when so few are available, and given some have been written off as well.

I agree that you will be waiting a looooooooong time before something as specific as what you want comes up, and to be honest a stone chip here or there is gonna happen on every car these days, so I would knock that one off your list straight away, because it's easily fixed.

At the end of the day you may need to settle for the best one out there that you can get your hands on, but agree that manual is better than auto.

I finally bought exactly what I was after - MYO7 Liberty GT t/b STI black sedan with 6MT, gold Brembros and Charcoal Enkeis.
I even got it from a dealer, under budget, with only 63xxx kms, and just 2kms from home!

Love the car!! The SI-drive is awesome - clearly Intelligent mode is pretty sluggish my comparison, but good for driving to work and keeping your licence

I think the Supra is getting a bit jealous. Will upload a better pic shortly.
