Lakin Custom Plate Brackets and Covers

Postby Deluded » Fri Apr 19, 2013 11:38 pm

Hey guys

As the title states, any one used this? It is quite pricey but the quality is good.

Am interested in getting it for the front to have the plate moulded to the contours of the bumper and elevated (like Mark's lifters)

check out their website.. maybe a group buy?

I have used the plate covers on my cars and wouldn't use anything else. Quality of those brackets are great as well

I'm using the kingpin slimline covers they sell but didn't lay down the cash on the brackets. I use rubber sticky dots to stop the plate vibrating on the paint instead.

Happy with the quality of the covers, though I have a little water ingress in my rear one. Not sure if maybe that can't be helped. Philip from Lakin is great to deal with too.

I didn't end up buying from them, but their customer service is very good and you can tell they're proud about their products and the quality.

Normally the water gets through the holes in the plate itself instead of the cover. I masked up all the holes and have no issues

Dude .. did you have the cover moulded with the contours of the bumper? or just standard flat bolt on?
