I can imagine. Assuming the stiffer the connection to the car, the better the effect is when limiting body roll? Make sense.

Ok just ordered the front HD mounts for the sway.

Spoke to a guy named Ryan. He said most of the time people just replace the fronts as its rare the rears will break, but he said if it were him he would do rears as well. I basically said I just want to do the fronts at this point since cash is getting tight. The fronts are still costing me $110 inc delivery.

Sound right?
Cheers

Ummm what that is totally the wrong way around. It's the rears that break.

Ah serious? They said it was the front. I better call em back.

edit: Spoke to I think Mike and he said yes the rear Cusco HD sway bar mount is what I needed, I think Ryan thought I meant front sway bar end links. That's where the confusion was. I already have the end links (Kartboy) ones from Taylor.

Anyway. sorry to hijack your thread Jay.

AFAIK there are no front HD mounts available... maybe they're mixing up links with mounts?

Yeah thats what Mike confirmed. Hence the confusion. But I sorted it out with him over the phone and he has rectified the issue.

Hahahah yeah lucky you got that sorted. I asked Michael for HD mounts to suit the rear (if they differ) , and he replied saying they don't stock the fronts as they never break.

In other news, I'm going to go DIY on my grill tomorrow.
I went to Autobarn today and investigated a bit- they have plastic body filler which all of the staff recommended for the job.
They also have a fine metal mesh which can be used instead of fibreglassing a backing. Way cleaner, way cheaper, easier, less time consuming, still flexible, a clear winner.

I asked about plasti dip and had a decent chat with a guy there about it, he said they're going to stock in about a month!
I'm still going to source some black plasti dip for tomorrows job. If i don't get around to buying it tomorrow i'll just use the grill unpainted till i can get my hands on some.
The grill is painted at the moment, but is suffering from stone chips. Plasti Dip will have a nice finish, and its easier than vinyl wrapping.

I have a dremel tool and a bunch of different grade sand paper already, so i'm set.

Will post pictures at the end of the day!

Plastidip is available at Doncaster Autobarn.

Unless they're sold out.

Also AA Industrial in Bayswater also stock it.

Got a head start, i cut everything with the dremel and sanded the old spray paint back with a heavy grade of sand paper.
