Silver 2.5i My04 wagon, stock, minus the single mass flywheel conversion. Student with low funds, family man with new addition recently. Was looking into coilovers/suspension & brake upgrade. What are the absolute musts - have had bushes replaced far too frequently at subaru mechanic over the last two years and knocking noise unable to be pin-pointed. In Wollongong area. I'm an ABSOLUTE carn00b, the basics explained would be an awesome help

Simple thought on the knocking, but the strut tops? My car did it after my coil overs went in. Easy fix and easy to overlook.
Budget wise, try and find some of those bilstiens that were floating around in melbourne for cheap. Pair them with some good matched springs of your choice and leave it at that. Great handling and ride for minimal outlay.
Kinda flush. Fitment is something. ADM as F*ck.

Thanks guys! Near Figtree Matt. Service the car at R&C, I'll get them to look at the strut tops next service.

Thanks for the advice Ian, it's all hypothetical now with another lil fella and low cash haha, probably just do some aesthetic mods and sell it for a GT/ 3.0 wagon eventually and spend far too much time and money on it :D
