wow, Adam. Thats a phenomenal outcome mate.

Incredible work by MSR to get that sort of power. I gotta get off my loaf now and get an exhaust together with a tune or I'll be left behind. haha.

You'll have to give us a review after you have given the car a good 100-200km run. Be interested to read in detail where you think the power is comin in at.

Thanks Shav!
Im thrilled with the power! It has so much torque, it throws you back in your seat hard when you floor it. :D

He set it up to have more torque at low revs, but the peak power isnt until quite high revs 6500rpm-ish so it still pulls at higher revs too if I ever had room to do that in sydney.

MSR loved it. He loved driving it.. kept saying its a beautiful thing and thats its the best auto hes done with those mods. And for those that have met mick, hes not the most excitable person at times.

I dont have an accurate way to do a 0-100 but am open to suggestions if someone knows a way.

There are android and iphone apps that give you a rough gestimate using your phones GPS, they will start recording when you move and stop when you hit 100.

Or get a mate with a stop watch?

Go on something like a highway or freeway, not ya local street!

Ive tried 2 of those apps josh and they wont work... the first one I tried said it took me 12 seconds to get to 100kmh hahaha
I think stop watch is going to be the best I can do.

Maybe put a camera on our steering wheel like a gopro and then record, then you can watch it later and see how long it took

Ill be safe mum dont worry
I actually dont know where id do a 0-100 time in sydney. Theres not really any deserted roads around here.
The only time i was able to try it was driving back from SA to NSW in the middle of nowhere.

Camera is a good idea though.. saves me having a passenger adding weight just to man the stop watch.

I wouldnt let your times at the track worry you mate. It's there for your purpose alone and for some legal fun. It would be much safer there than on the street. I once went to a street meet and some clown in an original 80's toyota cressida thought it would be fun pulling 22 sec time slips all night at the drags. Boring as bat **** yes, but he was legally having fun and didnt care what anyone else thought of him. I think we all cheered when he cracked a 19 for the night.

As for your car thats great Mick thinks its good. The fact that sort of feedback comes back from someone who drives countless cars with huge HP is a confidence booster.

Can I ask, what mods or things have you done to your trans? Did you fit a trans cooler or anything?
Cheers

yes, my mechanic recommended this too. He said on the last service (about 500km ago) that it was due for a full flush service next service. I might get it done sooner as I notice the gearbox holding onto the gears a bit longer than I'd like.

They're all great handling mods.
I'm still impressed on how well my car handles on the twisty stuff (have similar mods).
Match the suspension mods with a good set of tyres and you're really in business.
There's not many cars on the road that have the handling of a well set up Lib.
