In other news, just added this to my wishlist to ensure my instrumentation is sufficient enough to monitor my new motor (look at the redline number :wink: )

what rpm are you going to rev this too? im thinking about reving mine harder if i get a bigger turbo

Revs to 9k from factory

really!! thats crazy i got mine set at 7250 lol in saying that ive heard of issues with the cossworth heads having issues ate really high rmp

Yeah the 2.5's don't like to rev, plus the heads are completely different to even a worked set of any other EJ heads :wink:

I could probably still rev past 9k but don't really want to risk it plus my turbo won't be making much puff after 8000rpm so really the rev to 8700/8800 is more for next gear change into the power band

Yeah I'm going to make a casing for it out of fiberglass and then paint it satin dark grey/ black to suit the rest of the dash
