Rear demister

Postby 04GT » Sun Apr 27, 2008 6:09 pm

How long does it take for the rear demister to function?? I just found out mine wasn't connected at the rear, does it matter which plugs into which, cos they both look the same and connect to the same thing. I think it works now but takes ages

If parked outside and heavily fogged will take a while, as for connections dont think it matters but not sure

Early in the morning, it takes me about 8 minutes to get the back window safely de-misted!

That 8 mins will still have a little bit of mist/fog in between the actual demister lines but gives sufficient vision out the back!

Good to know but having a nice big garage to park in and undercover parking at work means I will rarely need it - yes, just rubbing it in ! :P

Rear whiper is all I want. Just because Holden and Ford don't think it's necessary, doesn't mean Subaru shouldn't put it on.
