MRT get very bad feedback. I didn't read the thread but as a general rule stay away, far far away.

"The only benefit for a reliable tune is drivability, dont expect ANY tune to give reliable Kw's"
ahhhh yeahh righto guys, strike 1

"The H6 6 cylinder engine sounds horrible with even custom, hand made exhaust manifolds, believe us we have tried this!"
ahhhh yeahhh righto guys, strike 2

"zero value for Kw in this area as well"
dont think so mate, strike 3

to be fair they probably don't give two shits about the H6 as they just care about selling people packages for their wrx. but they don't seem to know much about it.
but even then the amount of shit thats been uncovered about them on the internet i'd be staying away...each to their own and do your own research by all means though

From Mrt :Timing belt, fuel filter are again areas that should be checked and renewed.

Hmm we have timing belts now ??

That shows how much they know about a H6

Haha that mean my car sounds like shit now. :(
I rang them regarding few things with mine early in the day before I went to g88.
The person I spoke to then wasn't interested in my work at all ..
I know a few ppl who work there and theyre good ppl but overall think there's far better places to take our h6s and liberty's in general

The guy who owns mrt name is Brett OP name is Brett .......oooo lol

It is a golden rule, not a general rule...

I took a previous Subaru to them years ago. They were clowns then. Good to see they maintain consistency.

Yes I have had work done by MRT and been happy with the result

BUT

comments that caused special harm or defamation to a person or business may attract
legal action first to the forum owner and second to the clown that made the comment.!

Even S & J, a MRT dealer disagrees with MRT - see here: http://sjautomotive.com.au/Liberty.htm

That said, you have to realise the NA is no where near as tunable (is that a word?) as the GT. Compared to the GT you will get less bang for your buck from modifications.

As an example, expect a header back exhaust and tune to give around 25-30kw (and a lot more driveability).

In terms of getting big power right now the only option is the Raptor Supercharger. Kido_Tuning's E85 sounds promising but obviously that hasn't hit the market yet.
