Nissan R33 GTR brakes all round with Subaru brembo rotors.

Could this be a potential brake upgrade for those that want the "big brake kit" look without the 2nd hand brembo price tag?

...which allows me to run the Brembo rotors which you cant do on the WRX 4 pots...

Also, that would include upgraded rotors from the likes of DBA and RDA yes?

Possibly, but im not looking at making X amounts of adapters, Id like to keep my car a little unique.

Calipers are cheaper even than WRX 4/2 setup with the Nissan setup costing me $330 for front and rear calipers only and both look like very recent seal replacments = WIN! Plus new pads, near new DBA street series plain rotors from my GT Brembo's and adapters its under 1K for parts.

A bit of time on my part though to measure and design the adapters to suit.

Any Subaru specific Brembo rotor will suit.

Not for clamping force as they have the exact same piston sizes and pads as WRX 4/2 pots.

Benefit is front unsprung weight as the Nissan calipers are alloy and weigh less than WRX cast iron 4 pots by at least half. The larger rotor means more heat dissipation, longer to heat up the rotor.

indeed they are cheaper. There are quite a few sets on IM that go for a good price, a fraction of what the WRX 4/2 pots go for.

Thats an awesome price too for the whole package.

Sneak peak at the Nissan fronts I started the day before holidays.....









Stereo install completed.

Plastic and shitty tar removed.



Dynamat on the front doors to block all open area's, also section installed on outer door panel behind speaker = Massive improvement in bass from front speakers and decrease in road noise.



Designed and fabricated box to recommended internal dimensions for sub and to sit snug against back seat under cargo cover and within area of 40 seat so 60 seat can be folded down for boards.
