A car with 27,000kms with a complete service history showing no variance in O2 sensor voltage pings from 2800-3200RPM and again from 5000-6000RPM. You tell him his O2 sensor are on the way out.
Your H6 tunes show you have a 45% pedal angle requesting 100% throttle opening. Off course its going to feel quick.![]()
The Subaru O2 sensors have a service life of 160,000kms. Information from Subaru itself.
If you think it's your IAT settings then fix them all immediately. I've already had PMs from your customers advising of pinging.
And really who gives two squirts about a Hyundai or a Nissan. Go talk that crap on their forums and get shot down there.
) but since Intel does not even GET 100% throttle and still feels strong or Sport mode gets 100% at 85% accelerator, Sport# is actually 50% at 2000rpm for WOT, wont see full throttle prior and yet it has torque at 1500rpm... want a debate on airflow stall characteristics? The other non-SI Drive cars do not get full throttle until over 85% accelerator pedal, which is actually near stock.HoFF wrote:Well my car is at 190000 so yes my sensors are getting replaced ASAP.

Agreed Tom that your O2 sensors may well be on the way out.
I contacted a mate at Subaru service who advised the serviced life of a H6 front O2 sensor is 160,000kms under normal conditions.
This was based on the number of posts I'd been seeing with a recommendation to replace O2 sensors including a car with only 27,000kms being advised his O2 sensors were on their way out.

hence the factory values that are used which give full throttle at 55% lol, nice research there it?

Why do you change the pedal angle request then?

Bruce, its just childish that every thread Matt's name is mentioned, including other forums, that you have to share your 2c ...
Yes, you werent happy with your tune. Yes, you had problems. That happened how many months ago now? Whats in the past is in the past.
Instead of constantly bragging about how "shit" Matt's tune was, why don't you instead constantly brag about how "good" Michael's tune is.
Just a little food for thought...

Mate There are lots of things happening behind the forums that u may not be aware of and I think Bruce has ever right to say what he does, if half the people that had tunes done grew balls and pulled there heads out of the sand and said what's really going on it would be more helpful.
Bruce is a champion and I'll back him up 100%

Been out of this thread for a while..?
Who's Bruce?...
No, Seriously.
Why is Bruce the guru for checking everybody's tunes, PhD in advanced engine management design? Electro-mechanical/ Chemical engineering/ thermodynamics?
