fuel consumption meter.

Nearly everything is in here to start with.
If it's about your car, or Subaru's in general, put it in "Subaru Chat".

fuel consumption meter.

Does anybody else's L/100 ever read more than 50L/100K's? It's obviously the instant not average one i'm talking about.
Clint's (coldjet2) mps gauge has been into triple figures before and neither of mine ever goes over 50...
I spend most of my money on booze, fast cars and women, I just waste the rest...

I've tried to get it over 50 but it won't do it. I'd say it stops calculating or showing over 50 especially with how quick you can get it to 50 and it will stop and just sit there.

Mine will only go up to 50km/L (eg when coasting down a hill with no foot on the pedal) note its a MY04 with the old display, so I'll say its as high as the display goes/calcs

It's the same with our Kluger, it will only read up to 30l/100km. The average will however read much higher.

Reset you odo and floor it, see what you can get on the average reading.

the average fuel thingy only starts displaying after you drive more than 1k on the odo. Thus, you flooring it for 1k.

btw, only tops up to 50L/100k's on the instant

buddy... ours is the other way around :P so 50L/100km is equivalent to our 04 showing 0.8km/L.

However, I've inquired about whether my ECU reflash can be done to an MY05 base, to show L/100km... the display itself is the same, just the ECU software is different.

Yep, I also know someone with an MPS who gets in triple figures.

I just tell him the Subaru is far more efficient.

Yes... saw it read into the 50's towing a 900kg trailer while accelerating rapidly through 2nd and 3rd gears up to 100km. Wasn't there for long.

I was told that they couldn't do it....
What did they say to you? I think it would just confuse me now anyway, too used to Km/L.
