Is it worth getting an up pipe?

Postby peadya100 » Wed Mar 06, 2013 8:42 pm

Hey guys,
Im about to have a turbo back exhaust and intake put on my car with a tune.
Ive heard the term up pipe mentioned. What is an up pipe, and is it worth getting an up pipe? If so whats the benefit of them?

Or is an up pipe the same thing as the silicone intake?

Copy that!
I just found a similar thread on a US forum. Seems they all say its worth doing if you get headers.

For your info, the up-pipe is the pipe that joins your headers to your rear housing on your turbo.

Man I really need to see my engine without the cover on it to see how it all goes together (its my first turbo car). Might get MSR to show me a few things while its there.

Mick's 2 door is fukn fast. 10.9 second 1/4 mile fast.

A ride in it will blow your mind and make you think about modding your lib to 350kw.
