Yes correct. Tuned to 240 atm, unopened engine. Should be making a lot more though. Had a few issues during tuning..

The grimmspeed 3port isnt hold boost properly and I can hear it thru my screamer pipe.
Cam gears are rattling and is detected as knock and automatically pulling timing
Shit fuel

I'll get a hks electronic boost controller soon and hopefully get my avcs sorted which will net me around 260, or as scott recommends, 280 on e85.

Well done mate.

That is CRAZY power from a T28 turbo !

Hate to say i told you so, but as I suspected, the 3 port solenoid was the weakest link ;)

Glad my old setup is making someone happy. How does it feel to drive??

i thought these solenoids were good? whats this issue that they have? i find it funny that some tuners want them and others dont!! confused if i keep my hks controller or not, i will say the hks fits in the cubby hole nice too ;)

Do some research on how solenoids and servo motors work……. Then pass it on to your tuner.

The reason some tuners prefer the 3 port style solenoids is they can control them through the factory ecu, and because they don't know how to setup and properly tune Ebc's.

Hands down the evc will win over a solenoid type boost controller when setup and tuned correctly

That flutter on high boost that Bruce was experiencing a while ago is the same sound I'm getting, amplified x100 thru my screamer pipe. Not a nice noise

interesting to hear the 3 port isnt doing its job. I was told they were better at helping the tuner achieve more stable boost control. I bought a Pierburg unit the other day and it will be fitted this friday in conjunction with a revision tune by Matt. Considering my car is basically stock (stock exhaust and TMIC) I can only assume that it should be ok.
Cheers

They will be fine for your application. It worked fine for me up until Monday and before I started running 24psi boost
