yeah all cheap options have been done. mechanic is recommending a new engine dunno why. maybe ive done some damage because of the over heating. Ill speak to him tomorrow and see what he says.

It's a lot of work to do the gaskets, that's why he would want to just swap a motor in. Be about $3k for the motor + his labour for the eng swap

yeah he said theres a new motor in the area with about 46k on the clock and going for 3.5 or something and 6 months warranty his gonna try bargain him down to 3 and 12 months warranty if it goes sweet ill just grab that atleast he can check it out and make sure its good and if anything goes wrong i can refund it im pretty sure a year is long enough to pick up any faults i hope.

Keep your old engine and see if it is worth rebuilding (probably will be) then you may be able to recover some of your capital.

Got the engine put in and the car is running awesome so smooth even though it was before it just feels smoother.
All i need to get done is my sensors dont know which ones gotta hit up an auto elec and after that it will be all sweet.
