Having owned a b4 and spent a shed load of money on it trying to get it right. It's worth the extra time and money now and will be relative easy motoring.

Also from memory the primary was the bigger of the two turbos, so if you can get another primary turbo and run the two bigger ones. Makes sure all the bloody vac hoses are ok and if not sure just replace them all. I replaced all mine and it ran soooo much better.

Dan

Thanks for the info Dan and I shall get this vac hoses changed for sure! and that's a cool idea about running two big turbos instead!

If Enkei RPF1's came in that size for 5x100 I would already have them

Also does anyone know where I can get replacement turbo's from for a B4? Thanks guys

Sorry for the delay guys I was under the weather last night  put I have the pics for you guys!

Also its the IHI VF33 turbo that needs replacing and if you know any for sale please let me know :) Thanks

PS. I have confirmed that red is the original color via the paint code on the vin, so it must be a color they released on in Japan or it was a once off dealer version or something of the like! :D

You'll be the one screaming when you realise how much the twins suck. Seriously dude, go a single. You are taking massive leaps in a backward direction fixing twins. But some kando headers and an ebay td05-18g and enjoy your reliable single turbo car...
Kinda flush. Fitment is something. ADM as F*ck.

I know you might be right but I want to keep the engine stock so there won't be any issues I hope lol and the turbo I need is a VF25 instead since it has the jap turbo setup :)

But there will be issues with the twins. There is the whole valley of death thing, as well as 10-15 year old vacuum hoses in the rat's nest that is the sequential set up. You should ask around and find out if these computers are tuneable (which I don't think they are) or if you can get a cheap 2nd hand powerFC, and stick do a mild single turbo on it. It would be reliable as with 180-200 at the treads.
Ps. I am willing to acknowledged we are not all lawyers who play golf on week days, so there may be a budget. And nothing mechanical is cheap.

There should not be because when this car was brought over from Japan it had about 4k spent on it getting it tuned to run on 98 and 95 from what the last owner told me (so the ecu is tune-able but I'm not sure if it is a stock revision D or aftermarket which I will have to check) and I am getting all the vac hoses replaced :) And everyone is telling me to go single but at this moment in time it is not an option due to cost of the setup but maybe down the track then yes and I appreciate all your comments mate :D

Dont know if a jap import ecu is different from the audm computer. But i had a haltech interceptor on my B4 and mate to be honest... It was shit.!!!

The factory B4 computer has a heap of different maps in it that it will float between. So if your driving like granny and then give it a boot full it will just ping and crap itself. Give it a boot a few times and it went like an animal as that is what it was 'tuned' on...!! So it was always frustrating!!!

More thought!!!
Not a Subaru...... Something MUCH better

NOPE..... That's shit too. Bus anyone??
