The VF52 is a good turbo, they should have come standard on the GT.
Similar spool to stock, much stronger mid range and pulls all the way to redline.
I've seen them 2nd hand for about $800 - $900.
You might be lucky and find a decent 2nd hand Ball Bearing turbo for $1300.
Most aftermarket turbos aren't direct bolt up like a VF52 so the costs would be higher anyway.
Mine took about 4 days delivery once paid (Celtic).

I could sell u my vf46 in good condition for $300 next week if u like.. there is currently interest for the turbo and headers as a kit, but VJ wants my headers, so I don't mind selling the turbo separately

Process West Intercooler with the revised flange would work

Peronally, I like the TD05-16g as it suits the 5 speed autos better, change gears and your in the meat of the torque curve on kick down too.

Car is with Stechnic at the moment... They were baffled... we checked for blocked oil feed but the feed line still had bulk pressure, certainly enough not to fuck a turbo...

Cant really log anything coz I don't have a cable etc.. we scanned for codes at the shop. . They initially thought it was gonna be blocked filter when it initially threw the turbo side code, but then when it threw both they were wondering WTF??

They are gonna check oil pressure and inspect the turbo today, but we took it for a drive with laptop plugged in and boost was non existent. ..

How much is the VF52 posted to Oz?

I should also add, given its my daily, I need it fixed ASAP, so can't really wait aound for used. .

Worse tere is 46k vf46 on ebay for $400... but I'm not sure if I want to risk used..

Can you advise which Garrett would be a bolt on swap for the original?
Never played with a turbo engine before but this is one of the changes I am looking at doing.

Go to the commercial vendors and email street to track as he sells the bolt on garrett kits.

This is why I said giggle at 200. Manual would make 240ish on pump I would think.
