MY07 (GTB or STI) dash pics please..

Nearly everything is in here to start with.
If it's about your car, or Subaru's in general, put it in "Subaru Chat".

This is the first thing I pointed out to the service people at the dealership during my 1k service. I asked if that was normal because it seemed like a blackout spot. After comparisons with other 07 Libs on hand, it was normal. Meh, if it's normal than I leave it at that.

if you turn your key so that the sweep happens, then off, then on (maybe 7-10 times like me  ) you will see that the dark spot seems to follow the sweep of your fuel needle so i'm gonna agree with all who said reflection based as opposed to mech ineptitude.... but believe me mate, i know how you feel when you notice something that you hadn't seen before.

edit: not follow, but move in the opposte direction to it.
I spend most of my money on booze, fast cars and women, I just waste the rest...

I have to say this is one of the more stupid features added to the MY07.

In essence, it's a "How Am I Doing?" metre to measure, in real time, how environmentally green your driving is.

The green side on the right happily applauds you for being a friend of the environment. :clapping: While the opposite end indicates you're going straight to hell. :diablo:

Ok, do people really buy a turbo equiped GT to be environmentally friendly? I reckon I'm on the evil end 95% of the time (the other 5% is braking).

Couldn't that dial be better used for a boost level indicator or even a "How Scared Are They?" metre to measure how freightened your passengers are when you decide to take that corner like there's no tomorrow.
