BOV

Nearly everything is in here to start with.
If it's about your car, or Subaru's in general, put it in "Subaru Chat".

04GT, were you interested in the 'whoosh' or the 'whistle' sound? Except for the GFB Hybrid, all other BOV's require an adapter to fit the Liberty.

I have the GFB one installed, and the great thing about it is if I don't feel like making noise, I simply replace the trumpet with a cover to make it full plumb back. And vice versa. All in a quick 5 minutes.

Yeah my HKS one is a simple 5 min swap back to stock and vice versa.

Sometimes I just want it quiet, which usually lasts around a day or two

Nope.
It does on the earlier AFM engines, but not on ours.

I mean earlier, like GC8.
More noticeable on Nee-sarn engines.

I have the GFB Hybrid on my Liberty. No problems, no idle issues.
But make sure you set it up properly though, don't wind the tensioner too tight.

Nope. Only the GFB Hybrid is a direct bolt on for the Liberty.

Edit - I stand corrected! I always though the other kits were universal fit.

They have bolton kits, but not retain your engine cover.
