Legacy owner from NZ

Postby paulngui » Sat Feb 16, 2013 12:54 pm

Hi all! New member here from over the ditch in NZ. I'm always on our local forum ClubSub which is awesome, but is pretty lacking in terms of Gen4 owners so thought I'd join up here. Looks like a really great community! Looking forward to sharing and gaining lots of info with all us like-minded people. Some pics of my ride are below :)

Name: Paul
Ride: 2003 Legacy GT Spec B (JDM) 5EAT
Mod: Bone stock apart from STI Genome mufflers
Plans: None any time soon, if at all; but if any, would like to change down pipe (maybe rest of exhaust system), tune, smoked tail lights, black or gun metal grey rims, STI springs
Year of birth: 1988
Interest: Cars, photography, guitar
Previous Rides: 1998 Toyota Caldina 2.0G

And a shot with my old ride for good measure (black wagons FTW :D):

Great taste in both cars :good:

Very jealous of the cars you guys across the Tasman can get your hands on !

Any mods to the 3sgte Caldina?

Cheers! Yeah it's pretty sweet being able to have access to the Japanese market :D

No mods to the Caldina aye, mine was just the base spec with the 3S-FE putting out a lowly 90-100kW at the crank haha. So only upgrade was the wheels off the gt-t Caldina. Before I decided to go with the GT I pretty much had my heart set on the newer model Caldina Gt4, which also has the 3sgte from the gtt, but then realized you get a much nicer and quicker car in the Legacy/Liberty.

Thanks guys; I'm super envious of all the beautiful Liberties on here!

Having access to the JDM is awesome. Even imported my Legacy from Japan myself. If I was super loaded I could theoretically have any of the wonderful STI models here:

Which includes the S402 which is a step above the tuned by STI Legacy:
