I reckon the best way to buy the exhaust and stuff is to ask Mick to get it all. I'm pretty sure he uses XForce anyway so he'll have everything ready to go straighton to your car when you rock up.
Also, if you think you can spare another $400 or $500 get a silicon intake put in too. Some people think the money is better spent elsewhere but the bigger inlet pipe to the turbo makes the turbo spool a bit easier and should come on boost a little sooner. Apart from that, the turbo whistle is pretty cool.

Thats actually the perfect solution for me.. saves me stuffing around getting all the parts myself and potentially buying something wrong

I can get a Kobe Motorsport intake from ebay for around $250, and from what i can tell its from a member on here. Is that too cheap?

+1 for MSR to do the exhaust and tune. Mick is the best
http://www.msengineering.com.au/

The inlet pipe is a good mod but its really hard to notice any significant performance improvements. It's a must when you start running bigger turbos.

I would probably upgrade the Intercooler before the inlet pipe depending on your how your cash flow is going.

Each Mod requires a retune so you can save a few hundred $$$ by getting all the bits now and only getting 1 Dyno tune.

I know a lot of people say this, but i cant see myself upgrading the turbo... but once i have the exhaust and tune in a few weeks im quite sure ill get the bug and want to chase even more power. Depending on how i feel after the exhaust and tune i was considering the headers as Peter mentioned it made the car feel better on boost. Its another fairly cheap mod that doesnt really require any supporting mods other than the tune of course. But anyway, time well tell how good my restraint is

Watch this space i guess hahaha

The tune and exhaust will give you a big increase in low end and mid range torque which is really satisfying.

You'll find that you wont want the auto to kick down to a lower gear as there is enough torque to accelerate well at low revs.

The top end always feels a bit flat with the small VF46 Turbo which can only be fixed by putting a bigger turbo in.

The bigger turbo robs from the low end and gives to the top end.

Interesting - Peter is the vf52 a significant difference from your old turbo ?

Thanks Jackson!
I see you're from the central coast. I grew up in Norah head and am still up there every few weeks.
If im right, youre selling some intakes on ebay.. if so, im actually interested in them. Having no knowledge of turbo cars and even where those parts go id love to have a look at them one day when im up the coast.

The VF52 is a pretty good upgrade for the Lib GT as it gives it a lot more mid range and top end power while being a direct bolt up and reasonably cheap.
There is definitely more noticable lag which is always a draw back for upgrading to a bigger turbo.
Its only laggy off the mark and its not too bad when you're moving as you just change down gears and get the revs right in the power sweet spot.
The car definitely feels a lot faster once the boost kicks in and its a lot easier to overtake and loose your license etc.
Overall i'm pretty happy with the turbo upgrade.

Yeah i talked to Mick about the same thing a few months ago.
I wasn't sure how much machining or stuffing around was involved in fitting the VF46 compressor housing to the VF34.
I would definitely like to hear from anyone that has done this mod.

Have you seen how MRT match a VF34 to a TMIC?
