Stomps 08GT... Snail upgrade time

Bumper is fubar, damage to bootlid, beaver panel, various plastics, tail light etc..

Some genius in a pootrol with enormous bull bar seemed to be surprised that I stopped at a STOP sign.. go figure??

The lib is a tough little car though, he hit me at atleaet 20, hard enough to shunt me into the intersection with foot on brake... yet there isn't too much visible damage..

It's almost always some clown in a 4wd or SUV. Hopefully it's not off the road for long.

So many idiots driving cars, half asleep, fumbling in rear seat area, smoking and on a mobile phone but somehow the accidents are not their fault.

I got rear ended too... pretty much the same sort of damage to yours... total $6K worth of damage... put my car in Wednesday about 1.5 weeks ago... and still waiting. Apparently parts for the Gen 4s are hard to get...

I got rear ended too... pretty much the same sort of damage to yours... total $6K worth of damage... put my car in Wednesday about 1.5 weeks ago... and still waiting. Apparently parts for the Gen 4s are hard to get...

Well that doesnt fill me with confidence...

Decided ttto go ahead with my planned word anyway so today replaced some front suspension gear. .

Fitted anti lift kit, RCA kit and replaced lower front control arm bushes. . Also took the opportunity to fit an extra set of lateral lock stops to the front sway bar..

Turn in is much sharper now.. need to get some new tires to get full benefits

So... driving home from work today, got the following

Traction control light staying on
Engine light staying on
"S" light on the display flashing
CRUISE light flashing

Car drivng and revving fine, not down on power, no wierd noises etc..

The only symptom I got was, it stuttered a little when I pulled off the line in S# mode, before throwing the code..

I havent touched anything on it for a while, only thing I did was change brake pads yesterday.. just after leaving work I half filled up with fuel... the tank was nearly dead empty before..

Suggestions?

Any more CELs between this and and your turbo breaking?

More CELs.. both related to AVCS... a code came up for each side..

STechnic is looking into causes now but are thinking its filter related..

So decided on a turbo, ended up ordering a vf52 through Celtic.. I didnt want to run the risk of getting one second hand. .

Will also smash on the turboXS dump I have while im at it.. then retune.. im not chasing numbers but im fairly confident ill be able to get circa 180odd quite comfortably... maybe a fuel pump and injectors down the line... not to mention the rest of the exhaust..

That is as long as STechnic don't find anything else wrong. .

The gains from the Turbo and DP should hopefully see the smile return to the face farely quickly

Does the dump pipe require alternation to fit the Auto box?
Looking at my options for my car when the time comes.

Yeah, was a pissoff but thats life I guess..just shitty timing coz my fiance is going through a lot of medical shit ATM and we really don't need the stress...

The dump came off an auto my11 sti, but it fits directly onto a lib.. wont require any mods, but if you look at one, make sure it's the auto model..

Received my turbo yesterday and dropped it to the Stechnic boys this morning. .

Cant recommend the guys at Celtic enough.. quick and easy transaction, goods delivered quickly and they ensured there was no extra tax either..

Also dropped off the dump.. figured they may as well fit it while he turbo is out. . Save me the trouble. .

Ill retune as soon as I get it back..
