I hate that one to be honest! Think it kills the shape.

Polk Audio MM840 8" SVC sub ordered from the US to go in the parcel shelf, and replace the 12" in my boot. While the bass is awesome, i have no boot space.
Will be attempting to mount the big amp on the rear of the back seat (hopefully it allows the ski hole to be used still), and then wired straight up under the sub.

Also ordering a 18" x 36" (45cm x 91cm) sheet of dynamat, which should be enough to cover the parcel shelf.

On the hunt for a dump pipe. Best mufflers have the Xforce mild steel dump + 100cell cat for around $600. Would love to find a second hand one!

Did some tidying up in my boot over the weekend.

Installed my Polk Audio MM840 into the parcel shelf, along with a layer of dynamat.

I used the included 5mm spacer, and made my own 2 extra spacers from an old binder. Its hard card, each 2mm think, so the sub is sitting 9mm higher than standard. Still hits the torsion bars, but not an issue, i dont think?

Following up from installing the MM840 into the parcel shelf, i got at removing the 12" boxed sub, and un-mounting the amp from the floor, and re-mounting it on the back seat.

Used a piece of MDF which i sprayed black, and screwed this to the steel support for the rear seats. Then mounted the amp to this, and run all the wiring either under the back seat, or hidden under the parcel shelf. I can finally remove the boot liner, and access the spare tyre, as the amp was screwed down preventing this.

What the boot looked like before, PLUS of coarse a 12" sub in there too:

Then after removal of the sub, and repositioning of the amp:

Sub wired from the top, all nice and neat:

BEAUTIFUL !!!! Love those spats!!!!

Excuse the ignorance but are you running a line level converter ?? If so what one??

Used to have this a company car that I had . And the sound quality was REALLY shit. Would be interested to know what the quality of the bass is now.

Bass is a thousand times better than stock. Iv removed the harsh boot torsion bar rattle, but will need to sort out the parcel shelf rattle with some foam and weather strip.

Also replaced the 6SMD LED's to 8SMD's for a bit more light.

After sitting in the garage for around 3 months, i finally got around to installing my whiteline rear swaybar today. Only a 20mm, but its like 3 times heavier than the stock piece of crap. Hoping for some flatter cornering!
