Didn't you just come off a dyno? Why do you need a revision to fix MAF scaling. Could all this not have been completed during the dyno session? I would've thought the dyno session after about 3 months + of road and remote tuning via logs would have seen the tune nearing completion.

Yet to see ANY dyno tuned car in Australia get a perfect MAF scaling under 80g/sec ;) Even road tuned they drift a little bit like they are supposed to ;) Add in months of data to get the best bell curve = least variance :) Dyno tuned, the tuner needs to turn off AF Correction and Learning to scale in the MAF.

Same tune for 6 months.

Would that cam sensor DTC not skew AF corrections?

So Matt took on more than he could handle for the day?

I wouldn't call 4 cars for an entire day too much. I was just unlucky to not be the last person like Alexei was.
Didn't help that the first 30 mins on the dyno was wasted in Sports mode

I would say not getting all cars right and allowing a bit of room to move taking on more that you can handle for the day imo

Matt says there's a mechanical problem with the car. We dont know what it is though

If matt can get romes, micks and kierans cars right - surely he can get mine right too?

So maybe he's right maybe there is a problem. Car going into Cromwood workshop tomorrow to get checked out.

As you can see Eric's tune still had knock but only in one load range while Matt's tune has the sensors picking up knock all over the load ranges in that rpm range. Matt also says that its not piston knock that it's some other mechacial issue.

Things on the to do list now - new spark plugs with new leads, new battery, improve engine grounding, change transmission and diff fluids. We'll see how we go.

Looks good. May I ask who the tuner is?
