That was an ideal weekend for me: fiddling on cars with mates, drinking and the banter that goes with it
Next time, not to get so sunburnt...![]()

Massive thanks to Ed for kindly installing my coilovers, and to Jack, Ricco, Nigel, Dawsey, and Nick, mostly for standing around and being uselesssurprisingly they don't ride nearly as harsh as I thought they would, given I've gone from 4 and 5kg/mm with the Bilsteins to 6 and 8kg/mm with the BC BRs.
Super happy with the stance, and just need to get the bump steer correction kit in then it's off to get a final wheel alignment before I can enjoy it!

Do you need a bump steer correction kit with CO's?
The Whiteline Bump Steer Correction Kit is designed to raise the front roll-centre geometry by using specially engineered ball-joints & tie rod ends while still maintaining original steering geometry. Front roll geometry actually encourages roll the lower you go. Testing proves that raising the front roll-centre resulted in a substantial increase to front roll resistance & a significant reduction in suspension compression of the outside front wheel during cornering (less roll). This improves weight distribution & maintains a better camber angle which ultimately improves front grip. The overall outcome is significantly reduced understeer through reduced front wheel compression as well as improved steering precision & vehicle stability.

Got some more G88 love and now have my bump steer correction kit and rear sway bar mount installed. Was an interesting drive down to the alignment shop as my front toe settings were farked (the best way to put it was my front wheels were not dissimilar to a classy lady performing a spread eagle)
Also some bad luck: saw a decent chunk of metal on the highway last minute and narrowly avoided hitting it from the front, but clipped it on the side - the result![]()
On the plus side, at least that should be straight-forward to replace instead of the worse alternative of hitting and destroying my front lip. In any case, she's now a dream to drive again, was able to get away with -1.0 degrees of negative camber at the fronts (guards are pumped too).
More pics, why not![]()
