blacktop™ wrote:Same rims as yours Alex...except mine are better! Cos mine are +38 :P I had them on the 3.0r-b but need the guards rolled to put them back on the gt-b (didn't roll the guards previously)

Where and how much did you get replacement stickers from if you don't mind me asking :)

EDIT: yours are sticker less? In that case never mind about that question!

+38 is baller spec!

Mine have been resprayed and are stickerless, but this ought to sort you out!

Wheels look amazing... Are your guards stock (not rolled/pumped)?

Keen to see this on coilovers!

Thanks mate :)

Guards at the moment are stock as a rock! I'm getting them rolled (and possibly the fronts pumped too if deemed necessary) on the 9th - then coilovers will hopefully be going in around then too!

Here's a teaser chopshop courtesy of Ain

That's porn! It's going to/does look great!! That fitment is perfect on your car, the thing I'm worried about mine after I pumped the guards so much trying to get the XXR's to work. I just don't want the guards to hang out over the wheel.

Cheers mate!

PS, you don't have to worry about tuck, the wheel specs are literally perfect for filling out the guards. All it means is with pumped guards, you won't have to run much negative camber at all

Sounds good to me! Thanks for your help.

When will you be installing the coilovers?

No worries mate. I'm hoping we can whack them in straight after I get my guards rolled - all depends if Ed is free :P

Mini update:

Big week ahead! Getting guards rolled/pumped this Saturday from Phill B, then getting Whiteline bump steer correction kit + AVO rear sway bar mounts installed at G88 later that arvo, then coilovers going in on Sunday!

Also should have some TCP quads going on soon too... 8)

I'll update with a lot of pics, promise!

UPDATE

Massive thanks to Ed for kindly installing my coilovers, and to Jack, Ricco, Nigel, Dawsey, and Nick, mostly for standing around and being useless  surprisingly they don't ride nearly as harsh as I thought they would, given I've gone from 4 and 5kg/mm with the Bilsteins to 6 and 8kg/mm with the BC BRs.

Super happy with the stance, and just need to get the bump steer correction kit in then it's off to get a final wheel alignment before I can enjoy it!

Pics?

That was an ideal weekend for me: fiddling on cars with mates, drinking and the banter that goes with it :good:

Next time, not to get so sunburnt...
