Rim damage to the enkei

Postby GTSPECB STI » Fri Apr 11, 2008 5:27 pm

Long story short, 22 year old girl in a Corolla pulls out in from of me, I mash the brembos hard and have to swerve to avoid hitting her which results in me hitting the kerb and ruining the lib on my left front rim!!! Pissed off to say the least.

At least I get to have sex with the woman responsible for ruining my wheels.

Yes, I can see why it would be considered her punishment.

So what's next Dave? Do you plan to bring out the spare and replace it with that? Or will you consider getting it repaired instead? And did you pummel the 22 year old girl who caused this? Or at least make her pay for it?

depending on how hard you've hit it, there could potentially be a stress fracture in the alloy lower arm.

which is why some of the guys in the US sell/swap theirs for the steel ones on the non spec b.

I'm disappointed. Your mum/wife/sister/daughter promised not to tell.

My guess is that after the incident, Dave punched her several times in the face, and then stole her wallet. Got the age of 22 from the DOB off her driver's license. :blackeye:

all is well, changed out with the full size spare on Saturday. I got my detailer to put the autoglym wheel sealant on it before hand as well. he cleaned up the damaged rim which is still very much usuable but not pretty where the lip got mashed. This one will be a back up wheel at best and I am putting the tyre that was on the damaged rim on the new rim that is coming. The young lady that did this is making good on a new one.

That is good, probably a lot money for a 22 year old.

Kind of restores your faith in people doing the right thing, just because it is the right thing.

Unless you are making her work it off?
