yeh lip looks sick with the grill its really given it more of an agressive look i love you mick for mentioning this at G88 and a great price :)

yeh wheels are next (thinking 18x8 takuma rso), tomorrow it my last day of my aprenticeship so next week i get nearly a 50% pay increase haha so more goodies to follow

Re: Dawesys 3.0rb budget special ;) exhaust incl headers ?

Postby dawesy » Tue Feb 05, 2013 7:35 pm

so its coming up to mine and my libs 3 month anniversary
so as a treat picked this up from bates91 and may have also put my name to his headers :o .(damn you car people making me want to spend money)
after pulling the tune from my lib and having alook deffinetly alot more complex to the motorbikes i dyno tune daily at work
but will be a fun challange to get my head around.
next purchase will be a nice set of wheels then have a break for a bit to recoop some cash

Re: Dawesys 3.0R B-spec headers and exhuast 09/02/13

Postby dawesy » Sat Feb 09, 2013 9:13 pm

so tonight fitted up some K2 headers and x force stainless center and y pipe
can say a 3L running straight out of these headers sounds mental like a wrc car haha wish i got a vid
running those into stock mufflers, out side the car at idle sounds stock but revved up sounds mean. inside the car sounds(and feels through the floor) and meaner from idle to revved up cant wait to drive it

on a bad note my minor vibration made a turn for the worse last night and turned into a massive thumping vibration
chucked it up on the hoist next to work today for 30 seconds to find a broken rear transmission mount
not a happy chappy but thats cars

hopfully get that sorted early next week and get some vids of the exhaust
