New Audio Install

Postby tamastar » Sun Jan 20, 2013 9:58 pm

Hey guys, so I just wanted to run this setup by you to see what you think, any experience with this gear or any knowledge would be really useful! Thanks :)

Head Unit:
Pioneer DEH-8450BT

Front Speakers:
Polk Audio db6501

Rear Speakers:
Pioneer TS-A1672S (already had them lying around)

Amp:
Rockford Fosgate P400-4

Sub/Enclosure:
Pioneer TS-SWX251

The front two channels of the amp will power the front speakers and then the rear two will be bridged to power the sub.
The rear speakers will be powered by the head unit.
It's going into a '00 Outback

Hi tamastar,

I dont have any experience with that gear in particular but when I was planning my install the two greatest resources were http://www.diymobileaudio.com/forum/ and http://www.mobileelectronics.com.au/forums/.

Spend some time combing through there and try find recommendations regarding specific models for your budget.

Also, here is my build thread http://forum.liberty.asn.au/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=18413

Regards,
Brett
