My the unit in my Liberty is messed up at the moment
The CD player is jammed, or just completely stopped working
It comes up with the disc eject message all the time
Thinking about fixing it, wondering about places to go to get it fix, is it worthwhile ?
Also wondering the costs associated with it?

Reading on here I have seen threads for AUX input options not sure it that is an option given the year of the model

I believe there is a company somewhere offering a swap over with a reco unit for around the $300 mark..

Aux-in is definitely an option for your model. Look in the audio section.

Thanks for that, the AUX input seems like a good option.
Main thing is I wanted to get the unit replaced to get my CD's out!
Just curious in anyone knows of installer that would put one of those in, in the Melbourne Area.

Interesting, i also have a 2005 liberty and this same thing has happened to me today WHILE I WAS AT SUBARU!! anyway i went to ask the problem as i was in there for something unrelated and he told me this was a commen problem with our units, mine has no cds in there but keeps trying to eject no.6, to the point it was smoking while i had the tech out looking at it, mine just needs the "rubber band" put back or replaced in its proper spot or something? hope you have luck with yours.
