Wouldnt have a clue what globes as i think they are all different.

But its not super hard to get the cluster out and look for yourself. Few bolts/screws and bobs your uncle
Not a Subaru...... Something MUCH better

NOPE..... That's shit too. Bus anyone??

Be aware that if you are replacing the general illumination globes rather than warning lights, you won't really be able to dim them. LEDs have to be "dimmed" using pulse width modulation, whereas incandescent globe dimmers are a use variable resistor. Try out a single LED or one packet to see whether you like it or not before you fork out all of your hard earned to change them all over - unless you just normally have the dash turned up flat out all the time. :-|

I changed my dash LED's in my old car from green to white. They had surface LED's or something like that, was such a pain to change but I was so happy at the end of it. Couldn't stand the green and to have white was so good. The LED's were very small and it's fairly scary working on your own dash circuit board.

Lots of soldering involved and precision. It's pretty tough. Got my Dad to help me with most of it.

In terms of dimming, mine were far too bright. It had a white plastic thing between the circuit board and the fascia, so I cut out window tint and layered it over the top (a couple of layers) to 'dim' the LED's.

If it's bulbs you have to change, you're laughing.

Old car was a Ford Falcon*. Should have added that. The existing LED's had to be unsoldered and then the new ones soldered on.

Yes you can, i have replaced the illumination in my MY02 Heritage to Blue leds, i bought them from superbrightleds, i think i got these for illumination
http://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo ... -base/204/ but they are good when the dash dimmer illumination is set to full, otherwise a bit dark,

they now sell these http://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo ... -base/205/ which are double the brightness and price, may be a little better you just need 4 t10 wedge led and you twist the holder out then pull them out.

also the cluster has a colour filter, so if you use white leds they will be teal, i know blue work good. not sure about other colours, red should be fine, and green too.

Not a hard job, just start from your console/gear stick area, pulling off the woodgrain fascia. Work up from there, toward your stereo, and across towards your steering wheel. Few screws and clips later, and it's all off and you're out. As above post, 4 x T10 globes. Twist and pull. :)
