Seeing a lot more red in LV now. After driving for a bit.

My 3rd gear to redline is 170km/hr....120km? Doesn't really get me to 5000 Benny.

Sorry mate, 3rd gear to 170 sounds a bit much ey. I meant 4th. :D mine's auto. I wanted to make sure I get a good long pull so 3rd went a bit quick....and sorry Benny my bad :P

My main point is - it's a lot harder to explore your car's full performance on the road. I realise now dyno is much more comprehensive. Hence you don't have unexplored patches that you stumble on later.

And aidos it was a road tune. I was never suggested a dyno. Apparently road was enough. Im starting to lose confidence :)

But I've previously never had knock in S. Not even noise. That's even when S# was fkd. Imagine how fkd s# would be now :P

Just crap cuz my car is a daily and I've been trying to get it healthy for weeks now

Sport# asks for more fuel, Sport has less boost hence less fuel but runs more timing

Full time job? I thought it was common knowledge I have been off work with my ankle since July :) I am busy with people doing modifications as the free retune service thing has me doing quite a few turbo upgrades at the moment that guys got for Christmas.

I never said doing crazy stuff on the freeway as even on our road tuning, we never had to do crazy stuff.

Your logs were clean of knock although your OBD port is picking up noise. You have stereo wiring running near the ECU? You have values of 60 degrees AVCS(impossible) and the logs freeze at set values for like 3 seconds.

Hey I just checked my Log - it WAS the 3rd gear to 170!!

Yeah so I was doing a 3rd gear pull, and had to go to 170.
Now that is all good and fun- but probably a abit safer on the a dyno.

And on a dyno you could have a look why my logs are feezing :D maybe we put in too many variables that were being recorded in this log? I've never had them freezing when I only logged 12 things instead of 24 like now. I'm no expert but that's the first time that's happened. So I doubt it's the wires. Stereo is off when I log too.

New intake pipe fitted along with the WTA Cooler (no retune as yet and silly for me to rev it out, but its bloody hard not too :) ).

Tuner is Cihan Aday and the car is running great with no issues so far.

Image

Let Cihan know that my Learning View range values do not work in H6's... it will run lean between 40 and 52g/rev since H6 uses different values to the LGT's

Open EcuFlash
Find the Learning View AF Ranges
Right click on the map text(not opening the ROM)
Pop up window will show 3 'Elements' and you need to change the 3 to a 4. Click OK/Apply.
Open map and look at the 4th value ;)

Also, since a stock H6 goes to 2/grev and I know a supercharged H6 reaches 2.8g/rev, would it not make sense to have the FLKC Load Range lifted from 2.2 to say 3.0 and then have the FLKC Columns values set at 0.62, 0.92, 1.22, 1.52, 1.82, 2.12, 2.42 and 2.72 so it listens for knock at high load?
Would also probably be nice to have FLKC Rows set at 2000, 2800, 3600rpm, 4400, 5200, 6000 and 6800 since if your getting knock at 7500 to 8000+rpm, it would still be picked up by the 6800+rpm range row.

Put laptop into passenger seat, turn logger on, drive, press defogger switch to log to file. Turn defogger off to stop...

Bring loved one for company :P

Random question here I know but....
I came across a logcfg creator website a while back, and it had two options to log I think.
http://verticaltier.net/configtool/logger.php

One is the defogger but the other says "RPM" and you have to have engine speed selected in the Logcfg config. Anyone know what that actually does?
I do not use that template site anymore Matt has given me custom ones, but just interested to know if anyone has tried whatever that thing is.
