Ok, I had some feedback from a certain high profile member (drives barefoot = affordable race boots).
He mentioned his 3D floormat caught on his clutch pedal...
In the middle of a busy intersection...
Not good.

But potentially an issue with any new carpet or mat in a reasonably high K manual car where for some reason the clutch pedal is well and truly hitting the floor...
Indeed my car has had this issue, which drove me nuts, because of A: big hole in the carpet & B: clutch travel too long...

Needless to say, I came up with an inexpensive DIY solution, one of my first projects in mitigating every negative issue encountered in my substantial investment in Grand Touring.

Just don't add any more stopper than you need to keep the clutch pedal off the floor, and test extensively on a private road before venturing into traffic.
It took me a few goes to get the stack height just right for me!

No liability whatsoever is accepted by this forum or myself if you make disaster from this tip.
If in doubt, seek professional assistance! 8)

It took me about 6 hours to install them.
I had to take out the entire floor carpet and all the seats, then I had to battle Cthulhu to lay claim to the section the mats needed to be installed it.
I also used about 4 litres of glue and about 17 nails.

Hope this helps.

Im calling you out on this Kieran, there is no way any battle with Cthulhu took that short, no matter how large or small scale said battle was.
