Thanks Nizzmo, grabbing it now.

Is a single layer DVD fine? Heard a rumor that a dual layer is required, despite it being less than 4.7GB in size.

Ok, seems there is a problem with this file. Iv been PM'd and some others are having trouble.

I burned the ISO onto a dvd using MagicISO with no worries, loaded into the car, and everything seemed fine. The version updated, and it registered the disk with no problems, but there is no actual Map data it seems? GPS will not show any map, and when you click to enter a destination, it comes up saying no map data..

Any one have any clues?

A new Subaru owner and surfing brought me into this thread. As they say, sharing is caring so here it is... V18 C2.

Enjoy!

Thanks so much for this! I uploaded more than I downloaded just to get it down. Share Ratio is already 1.5. Will keep it sharing :D

Edit: They finally updated it! Anyone who knows the Gold Coast the V18 maps finally shows the double lane upgrade of Robina Parkway between Markeri Street and the Rounabout in Carrara. Something that was only completed like 8 years ago!

Have to admit though the quality of the Maps are fairly rubbish in after my trip to QLD and back.... None of the new Highways are in place and it lost me all together at least a dozen times.

Apart from the fact that it is built in and integrated makes it worth it but I do miss the turn by turn street names announcements etc. Also I find that it seems to tell you to turn at the last second or at least in country area's but I guess this is more whereis that is not provided 100% accurate maps.

Has anyone had the "unable to read disc" error.
Something weird.... I burned the V17 ISO using the rapidshare at the start of this post, onto DVD-R and it worked fine for 1 week. Then today it said at startup "system update" then just says "unable to read disc"...
I guess I'll try burning again.

Burning on a Mac using Disk Utility ...

I downloaded v18 C1 from this link last week. Burnt it onto a single layer dvd-r disc and so far it is working perfectly. I have kept is seeding (ratio now >5 on this torrent!) so get onto it anyone that wants it. If you are in the ACT and want a copy I am happy to meet up and pass it on thereby saving the hassle/time of downloading it. Cheers

V18 C1 can also be downloaded from these links. Much faster download rate than the torrents. You need to download all parts, and unzip them together to get the .iso
These are the links i used, and it definitely works.

Happy days.

I seem to miss so many turns because it doesn't tell you the street name. To go from "turn left soon" to "turn now" isn't helpful when there are heaps of left turns and on a busy street. Would be good to get google maps on it!
