Well done Oz looks great...

I'm running the Whiteline on the front and rear with a slight camber adjustment to the front wheels. Car is pretty neutral now with a hint of oversteeer which makes the track days quite fun

I think the Cusco rear sway bar comes in 20mm through to 23mm.

I'm fairly sure I've got 23mm front and 21mm rear.

Thanks Q, yes I was pleased with the result and posted a 1:29.

Q is probably too modest to brag about his own time but I would have been about 5.5 sec behind his '04 STi.

The suspension mods certainly made the car more stable through the fast sweepers and virtually eliminated under-steer in the tight hair-pins. There was no bouncing through mid corner.

Other bonuses I've noted over the past week is an improved ride comfort and a hard to define more planted feel. No noises at all.

Have you done the STi rear lateral links? :)

I'm curious to know what sort of difference that would make.
(Actually I'm already curious to know what the Cusco rear lower arm bars make too :D)

No, all I've done is put on the Cusco gear shown and the STi pink springs I had put in last year.

I've just had confirmed from Subaru that standard, the front sway bar is a solid 21mm bar and the rear sway bar is a solid 19mm bar.

I'd have to dispute their advice regarding the rear bar, it's so much lighter than the front. So unless it's solid polystyrene, it has to be hollow.

I agree the front is solid and looks about 21mm.

I'll weigh them for you.

I'm not disputing what you've said... just reporting back what Subaru has advised me.

Once you get back to us with their weights, i'll shoot another email off to Subaru.

The results are in;

Rear bar (which is longer) 1.4kg.
Front bar 3.1kg.

Do you want me to see if the rear bar floats?

Wasn't trying to shoot the messenger Daniel, I understand you were only going on Subaru's info.

What do others think about the weight difference, does it support my theory that the rear is hollow? I'm not going to cut it in half.
Michael.
