Sweet, yeah it cleaned up well, looks just like yours now Ben :)

Thanks guys, I'll make something up, and take apart what ever I can to clean it all internally :)

What side of the HKS filter should be facing the intake? Mine had the fluffy side facing the intake which seems wrong but that's how I got it...

Okay awesome :) That should be alright then, seemed like the foam side would be better at stopping bigger bits of dirt as it was a bit of a pain cleaning the larger bits out of the scourer side :P

Yeah, it's odd though (and I'm being quite serious) Gen3 feels a lot more comfortable on dirt than the Gen4... maybe it's coz one cost a little over 3x the amount of the other? Yes, I got ripped off for my Gen3... :P

I reckon I had more fun in my FWD SP20 on dirt... Could drive around corners and the back would do its own thing (with help from the handbrake), with some level of control... AWD just sort of spins, then the turbo spools up and it just ends up sliding all wheels so you back off a little and have to spool up again, by which point you're around the corner. Maybe I just need to drive faster, or get anti lag...

Drive faster, use a high gear, brake as you start to turn in. Ride it out and accelerate web straightening up. That's what they taught me at my rally day. Was heaps fun!

Keep in mind I look after my cars! Not going to go flat out destroying my car! I'm talking like 30-40km/h, just trying to get it to slide out a bit, not full rally style around corners

I find I have a lot more control in myAWD than I ever did in my FWD, but I hit a lot of embankments in that thing to prove it :P worst handbraker ever. :(

Get rid of the turbo and get an H6 - immediately eliminates any spool time and there is torque over a wider range....
