Dirty as fuck haha.

How was the cruise and the brake stopper?

I loved the drive after installing mine. Pedal feels alot firmer (better). :D

Great cruise! Some of the best roads I've ever driven on, even worth getting the car that dirty :P

Yeah it's good, wasn't expecting any improvement really but definitely noticeable. Much better pedal control with hard braking, can avoid the crappy ABS system pretty well now :D

Dan - you need to update your Mod List, I noticed today when I was parked behind you that you had your clear courtesy lenses in :P

They're still not finished :P Need LEDs put in plus I don't like the look of it because behind the lens is white plastic which looks out of place now that you can see it... So I'll either paint it black or put the red ones back on...

I'd be interested to see a pic of your maf after that dusty drive.
I'm not sure about hks filters and dirt roads in combination...
I get some fine dust on mine so I'm considering going back to the OEM filter or doubling up on hks filters :-)

I kept my distance so I wasn't sucking in too much dust, although when I clean the engine bay I'll wash the filter, snorkel and give the MAF a blast, just to be safe :)

Haha it was good! Definitely doing it again next boxing day, just avoiding the dirt roads...

The best thing was, they had a bitumen alternative ready to go for those who weren't up for the dirt for whatever reason. So well organised. Check in sheets, regular regroups, checking people off the checkin sheet at each regroup. I didn't get left behind (apart from getting held up a little bit in traffic/road work speed limits on the expressway to start with) ONCE, and we know how rare that is for me! ;)

Coating of fine dust in the velocity tube too?
Ill be checking mine again soon.
Using crc maf spray to clean...
Don't forget to gently spray up the maf holes too... Sensor bits up in there too.
I made a neoprene gasket for the filter holder, but if the filter itself isn't fine enough for Aus use...
Thanks for checking and thanks Simon for the Apexi filter suggestion :-)

The HKS filters dont seal properly in the airbox and you will get dust bypassing it.

Like Benny said, you have to make a gasket on the engine side of the airbox to seal it correctly. Foam sealing tape from Clark Rubber does the trick for a few bucks.
