Coil overs set wrong? dangerous?

Hi,

After having some quite helpful people identify the suspension brand as below...

I've noticed that the passenger side is set quite different to the drivers side as can be seen in the photos below

Now i am presuming this is incorrect and they should be set pretty much symmetrical? Does anyone have any handy guides to get a base setup?

And can anyone suggest a decent place in Perth who could setup the suspension? i have heard stechnic i think thrown around?

Yes the settings should be symmetrical. That is weird haha.. How did they end up like this? You should take it to a mechanic or tyre shop and have it aligned properly

They might of not put the lower camber bolts in the same position on each side so they compensated with the plates.
No biggie as long as the camber and toe are the same both sides.

Ones negative ones positive which is strange, depends how the factory camber bolts are set though.

Possibly they have adjusted the camber from the struts at the last alignment to factory specs instead of the oem lower adjustment as its easier.

Just get an alignment. No drama's.

Noone here seems to understand...., dont expect the car is perfect. You think your car is actually straight? You think your strut tops are symmetrical to your hubs?

Differing control arm deflection/mounts, strut tower position, body symmetry etc all come into play. You can have one all the way pos and other neg and it could align perfectly.

Only thing that can tell is an alignment or at the very least setting the top clevis bolts to a neutral position on both sides, and then chalk marking the tyres on a flat surface with identical pressure and corner weights. A $30 alignment at pedders is easier if you just want to know if its right.
