1. It's normal. Full lock puts more stress to the system. It is advisable not to keep it full lock too long i.e. when turning full lock, back off a tad so you're not overworking the power steering pump. Backing off slightly will make SFA difference to you turning circle, so it's a good habit to get into. Edit: it shouldn't squeal though. That's a belt issue.
2. Speed sensitive steering causes the fluctuation/drop in revs. From what I understand, it allows high level of power steering at low speeds but at high speeds it lessens out in order for the driver to feel more of the road for better, more precise handling, and no floaty steering feeling at high speeds like in some other cars.
